Foldable rechargeable mirror with lights
Recently, I went on my first business trip in three years. During that three year time period, I have become somewhat obsessed with TikTok and, of course, all of the various products you can find there. This vanity mirror was one, of many, that I saw and immediately had to have. I was building up a list of Travel Essentials and after fighting with my husband over the bathroom during our trip to New York last December, me so I could use the mirror to put on my makeup, him to take a shower and shave, this was absolutely a must have!

The first thing I noticed, when the travel vanity mirror arrived was its size, which was perfect! It is small enough to easily fit in luggage, even a carry on bag, without being too small to see your full face while doing your makeup. When I took the vanity mirror out of its box, I was pleasantly surprised that it felt both sturdy and light, not an easy feat to accomplish. And, the foldable attribute of it worked like a charm, it folds up to cover the mirror and protect it, and when you unfold it, it serves as the stand for the mirror. Finally, and this was the best part, the three settings for the lights around the mirror allowed me to apply my makeup perfectly, not an off color that looks good in the hotel room only to look cakey, streaky, and a yellowish color when you walk out into the daylight.
Before my trip, I purchased about six new Travel Essentials, the vanity mirror, a new backpack specifically made to carry a laptop, tablet, and cell phone, including built-in charging capabilities, a travel makeup and toiletry bag, a travel jewelry bag, and a cup holder that attaches to the arm of a roller bag. I’ll be doing product reviews of all of them, but I will tell you one thing, my purchases, in large part, definitely made for a more pleasant business trip.
As to whether the business trip itself was a good one, that’s another story for a different day.
