Foundation: Look for a foundation that is formulated with ingredients that are nourishing and hydrating for mature skin. One of the makeup trends for 2023 is makeup that doubles as skincare, so this should become easier and easier.
Concealer: To cover up dark circles and blemishes, look for a concealer that is creamy and easy to blend. Avoid concealers that are too dry or cakey, as they can accentuate fine lines and wrinkles.
Powder: Setting your makeup with a powder can help it last longer and reduce the appearance of shine, but the wrong powder can also accentuate fine lines and wrinkles. Look for a powder that is lightweight and has a natural finish.
Blush: To add a natural-looking flush to your cheeks, choose a blush that is a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone. Avoid shimmer in your blush, as it can accentuate fine lines and wrinkles, you can add shimmer to your face with highlighter, which can be applied to the top of your cheek bone.
Eyeshadow: To create a youthful, radiant look, choose eyeshadows that are shimmery or have a satin finish. And, brush up for a lifting effect.
Mascara: To define and lengthen your lashes, choose a mascara that is formulated with nourishing ingredients to help strengthen and protect your lashes. Avoid mascaras that are too thick or clumpy, as they can make your lashes look heavy and unnatural.
Lip color: To add a pop of color to your lips, choose a lip color that is hydrating and nourishing. Avoid matte lip colors, as they can be drying and accentuate fine lines on the lips. If you don’t want to give matte lipstick up, add a nourishing gloss on top.
